Dr. Jim Wood is running for the 2nd Assembly District which encompasses the California North Coast including the counties Del Norte, Humboldt, Mendocino, Trinity, and the northern half of Sonoma County. In 2010, Jim was elected to his second term on the Healdsburg City Council and currently serves as Mayor.

"I'm endorsing Jim Wood for the State Assembly because he is an effective, dedicated and thoughtful leader who will work to create good jobs, strengthen the North Coast's economy, and make our communities better places to live, work and raise a family."

- Congressman Mike Thompson
